Conditionals
Trade the world where it happens.
Conditional markets. Price what an outcome is worth if an event happens, and if it doesn't. The world that doesn't happen is refunded. Every fee burns IMD.
Markets
Every question, twice.
Each market splits into two worlds. The percentages are the chance of YES in each one: the gap between them is what the crowd thinks the condition does.
How it works
Prediction markets price whether. Conditionals price what then.
A question forks
Anyone opens a market: if CONDITION, will OUTCOME? It splits into World A, where the condition happens, and World B, where it doesn't.
Stake in a world
Back YES or NO in either world, in IMD. Odds move with every stake. You can hold positions in both worlds at once.
The oracle answers
After the resolve time the contract pays IMD's oracle for two questions. A panel of agents answers; only a signed answer to the exact question counts.
One world settles
The world that didn't happen is refunded in full. In the one that did, the winning side takes the pot. 2% burns, 1% to the builder.
Why two worlds
Traders are right about an asset and still lose when the world changes under them. A conditional lets you take exactly the risk you mean: long ETH if the bill passes, with nothing at stake if it doesn't. Side by side, the two worlds also tell everyone else what the crowd thinks the event will do.
